Director of Quality and Infection Control

Provides leadership and direction of infection prevention program. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required. Registered Nurse. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required. Master’s Degree preferred. Exercises independent judgment in recruiting, training, coaching, supervising and responsibly directing assigned staff. Conducts ongoing analysis and reporting of infection prevention data. Represents infection prevention in interdisciplinary meetings including quality and performance improvement. Trains, supervises and schedules infection prevention staff. Adjusts daily work assignments to meet the demands of the department. Monitors and evaluates performance of infection prevention staff and activities. Seven years’ technical experience preferred. Five years’ leadership experience:preferred.Five years’ experience in acute care setting preferred.
