A number of children will have a better chance of success at school because they’ll be wearing new outfits provided by Clothes to Kids through a donation from Harmony Healthcare.

Harmony CEO Christian HG Brown sponsored a table at the charity’s 2016 fundraising luncheon “Helping the Helpers” in March at the Coliseum in St. Petersburg, Florida.table

The money raised will go to Clothes to Kids. The organization operates two stores with department store-like atmosphere where low-income or in-crisis kids are treated with respect and compassion. Each child gets to choose a free wardrobe of new or gently used clothes that includes shoes, socks, pants, shirts, underwear and a jacket.

Since the first CTK store opened in 2003, the charity has provided more than 115,000 wardrobes to school-age children in Pinellas County, Florida. The group expects to clothe some 12,000 children in 2016.

Brown is proud that Harmony Healthcare can help provide some of the outfits that will help give the children the confidence and self-esteem needed in their pursuit of academic success.
