Metropolitan Ministries serves over 40,000 families in the Tampa Bay Area
Members of the Harmony Team including: Lieann Ciancia, Laura Camacho, Zack Bertrand, Robert Agger, Tammy Hawthorne, Austin Gantz, Josh Zagarena, Jose Rosario, Erin Gallagher, Erin Smith, Joel Rush and Shane Arnold spent the morning sorting food, toys and helping to organize all of the donations in preparation for the holiday season.
It was a privilege to be able to spend time working together as a team outside of the office to help serve our community.
The Holiday Tent serves over 40,000 families in the Tampa Bay Area by providing food and toys for the holidays.
A platinum-rated charity by GuideStar, Metropolitan Ministries puts 89% of their revenue directly into programs including food insecurity, housing, education and Trauma Informed Care. They rely heavily on volunteers – in 2020, 111,000 hours of volunteering saved the organization $2.78 million.
