When Harmony Healthcare CEO Christian HG Brown envisioned our organization, he saw a problem that he could solve. Brown recognized the importance of the revenue cycle in a continuously shifting healthcare landscape. The desire to help healthcare facilities burdened by the challenges of finding capable leaders, maximizing their revenue and emphasizing population health became his passion. But his passion led him beyond clients and consultants: it focused on impacting the community as well.

Empowering people and change

Working with healthcare professionals and organizations to help them move past their limitations and to positively influence their professional opportunities meant impacting their success. That’s what Harmony Healthcare stands for and is the promise we makes to its clients and consultants.

Serving others and going beyond business success, however, is at the heart of our long term mission. We strive to invest time in opportunities that allow us to help those in need. University of Central Florida student and Harmony intern Sophia Castellucci, explained it best: “If any employee comes to Christian with a charity that gives 85% to the people or the cause in need, he makes it a point to make a donation. No questions asked.”

Serving the community where it counts

Harmony’s philanthropic efforts are strong, having donated money and time to over 36 organizations in and around the Tampa Bay area. The list includes:

  • Miles for Moffitt: This event is a race that welcomes runners and walkers who are interested in getting a healthy dose of exercise while helping Moffitt Cancer Center carry on its mission to contribute to the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer.
  • Clothes to Kids: This organization holds its annual Clothes Matter Fundraising luncheon and fundraising event to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in crisis school-age children free of charge. Harmony is a proud sponsor.
  • Southeastern Guide Dogs: This organization is a personal passion here in the office thanks to an employee who is an active board member. It trains dogs of the highest pedigree for people who are blind and for veterans, providing lifetime services at no cost.

We recognize that advancing the health of communities must include helping those communities overcome challenges. We appreciate the importance of serving others and taking steps to make a positive impact where it’s most needed.
