Serving Others—Harmony Healthcare Impacting People and Communities
When Harmony Healthcare CEO, Christian HG Brown, envisioned his idea for Harmony, he saw a problem that he could solve. Brown recognized the importance of the revenue cycle in a continuously shifting healthcare landscape. The desire to help healthcare facilities burdened by the challenges of finding capable leaders, maximizing their revenue and population health became his passion.
Harmony was thus formed with one goal: to work with healthcare professionals and organizations to help them move past their limitations, empower them to create change, and make more success achievable. That’s what Harmony Healthcare stands for. And it’s the promise Harmony makes to its clients and consultants.
However, Harmony’s mission to serve others goes well beyond the clients and consultants they partner with; business success has given Harmony the opportunity to help those less fortunate, greatly impacting people within the community. In a recent informational interview with University of Central Florida student, Sophia Castellucci, Brown explained that “if any employee comes to him with a charity that gives 85% to the people in need, he will donate to them.”
The list of nonprofit organizations Harmony donates to is vast including Miles for Moffitt—a race that welcomes runners and walkers who are interested in getting a healthy dose of exercise while helping Moffitt Cancer Center carry on its mission to contribute to the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer. Harmony’s philanthropic efforts are strong having donated money and time to over 30 worthy charities in 2017 alone. In fact, earlier this year, Harmony was a proud sponsor at the annual Clothes Matter Fundraising Luncheon—a Clothes To Kids fundraising event. Clothes To Kids provides new and quality used clothing to low-income or in crisis school-age children, free of charge. In addition, Harmony’s Director of HCS Client Solutions, Ken Folkman, is deeply committed to working with Southeastern Guide Dogs where he is an active board member. Southeastern Guide Dogs trains dogs of the highest pedigree for people who are blind and for veterans, providing premier dogs and lifetime services at no cost.
As a company dedicated to the advancement of health, Harmony understands the challenges facing communities and appreciates the importance of serving others and giving back.
